This Toronto, Canada home belongs to The Marion House Book's Emma Reddington. The Marion House Book is a blog I recently discovered, though I have no idea why I didn't fine it sooner as it is really lovely, as is the author's home. See below:

The color of the china cabinet is perfect to add some interest to the space. 





Two images above show the entryway.  The owners have used mismatched chairs in lieu of a console.

I don't think I could ever do orange in my bedroom, but this wallpaper is beautiful. I could do it in my home office I think - as orange is supposed to boost creativity.


I am a magazine hoarder, because I've found that sometimes I'll flip through a magazine from a year ago and something will catch my eye that didn't the first time I looked through it. So perusing last summer's magazine is sometimes like opening a brand new magazine. This bookshelf has the perfect sized cubbies to store mags.

This house by Kim Winkler is really unique. Rarely do you see such an amazing blend of dark, luxurious elegance paired with such rustic elements.

This picture has inspired me to maybe paint my bathroom black.... anyone here tried it?

This home is so subtly glamorous and elegant, but the classic furniture in tougher textures keeps the place kid friendly...

The desk and chair are such a great pair but I never would have thought of putting them together
